February 19, 2025, Press Release from the Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services: (COLUMBUS, OH) - The Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services (OhioMHAS) today announced that it is partnering with the National Organization for Victim Advocacy (NOVA) to host a series of regional trainings that will help communities better respond to the mental and emotional needs of residents following a disaster.
The American Red Cross and Mercer County Emergency Management Agency visited the Mercer County Council on Aging to distribute disaster kits.
The Mercer County EMA provided training in case of a natural disaster occurring, such as the tornado that struck the Celina area in May.
