The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) is announcing the seizure of over 50.6 million fentanyl-laced, fake prescription pills and more than 10,000 pounds of fentanyl powder in 2022. The DEA Laboratory estimates these seizures represent more than 379 million potentially deadly doses of fentanyl.
Allen County Public Health announced that they have received the new vaccines at their facility. The Moderna version of the vaccine is authorized for use as a single booster dose for individuals 18 years of age and older, while the Pfizer version will be a single dose for individuals 12 years of age and older. To be eligible for the vaccine, it must have been at least two months since you have completed your primary vaccination or received the most recent booster dose.
The shots are for children 6 months to 5 years old. These pediatric vaccines will expand eligibility to nearly 20 million additional children. These will be doses that are much smaller than those given to adults. And children under 3 years of age need to get the shot at the health department or at a physician’s office.
