A Lima man has been sentenced to 13 years in prison after shooting at his ex-girlfriend and later refusing to surrender during a lengthy Fourth of July police standoff.

An Allen County jury convicted Marcus Tyson of murder and related charges for the April stabbing death of Anthony Townsend following a dispute at Townsend’s home.
