LIMA, Ohio (WLIO) — A Lima man has been sentenced to 13 to 17 years in prison for shooting at his ex-girlfriend and later engaging in a standoff with police on the Fourth of July.
William Edge, 47, was found guilty by an Allen County jury of felonious assault, tampering with evidence and other gun-related charges.
According to Lima police, the incident happened July 4, 2025. Detectives say Edge fired a shot at his ex-girlfriend during an argument inside her home before leaving the scene.
