Lima City Schools has started its summer food program, providing free hot meals to children ages 1 to 18 at several locations throughout the city. School officials say the program is open to all children in the community and encourages families to participate.

Children from 1 to 18 years of age are able to get a hot meal Monday through Thursday through July 31st. School officials want people to understand this is for any child, not just Lima City School students.
