A Lima man who pleaded guilty to choking a woman unconscious has received his sentencing in Allen County Common Pleas Court.

In July of 2021, Lima Police say Crisp strangled a 22-year-old woman on the ground until she lost consciousness in front of the Dollar General on Jameson Avenue. Crisp drove away from the scene. The victim was taken to the hospital for treatment and Crisp was later arrested. He will be sentenced on the charges in February.
A Lima man who was arrested back in July for an incident in front of Dollar General has his court case set. George Crisp was charged with felonious assault after police say he took a victim to the ground and strangled her until she lost consciousness.
Two people are in Allen County Jail after two separate incidents that happened overnight on Friday.
