Members of the “ALL” class spent the day learning about what all the Mercy Health Saint Rita’s Graduate Medical Education Center has to offer. They even got a peek behind the scenes as they were able to tour teaching areas including surgical rooms equipped with high-tech patient simulators and more. “ALL” members were impressed with the facility and what it means for Lima and the region.

Executive leadership and Graduate Medical Education team members at Mercy Health St. Rita's had the opportunity to be a part of the hospital's newest building. They were able to sign their names on one of the steel beams for the new Graduate Medical Education Center.
A graduate medical education building that is under construction on the corner of Market and Collett Street hosted a groundbreaking ceremony this morning. The building will house a 250 seat auditorium, classrooms, library, and computer center for graduate medical students. With a possible shortage of physicians in the future, St. Rita’s Mercy Health thinks they will be able to attract graduate students with the new medical building.
