This September, during Hunger Action Month, the West Ohio Food Bank is calling on all of the communities that we serve in our 11-county coverage area in west-central Ohio to come together once again to end hunger in America.

Nourish, educate, and advocate for those facing food insecurity is the West Ohio Food Bank's new mission statement. September is Hunger Action Month, and the West Ohio Food Bank is working hard to end hunger in the 11 counties they serve. They are asking everyone to take action, whether it's donating, volunteering, or spreading the word online, because every action matters. Food bank officials say they are still seeing an increase in people who say they are living paycheck to paycheck and encourage anyone needing assistance to contact them.
This is the 15th year that a network of 200 food banks, including the West Ohio Food Bank, have been taking part in "Hunger Action Month". The local food bank serves an eleven-county area by supporting dozens of food pantries, holding monthly distributions at the facility, and helping anyone who is in need of food to put on the table.
