Mercy Health-St. Rita's installed a Blessing Box that will serve as a place where struggling families can anonymously pick up food. Those who are also interested in donating can come to the box and leave food items inside. Another box has also been installed at the newest community garden on South Jackson Street, and according to those from the hospital, there has already been a variety of food dropped off by local residents.
