Johnny Appleseed Parks is giving people the chance to take a shot at archery. The park district held two beginning archery classes Wednesday night at the Allen County Farm Park. The free classes give kids from 9-years-old to adults the fundamentals of how to properly use a bow and arrow and how to safely use them on a range. The archery classes are very popular each summer, and they can teach some important lessons for kids and adults.
