The Freedom Flag Monument Foundation holding their Veterans Day observance at 11:11 this morning in remembrance of the signing of the armistice. This was the 12th year for the observance at the monument and organizers say it's important to remember.

Wendy Staiger attending her first meeting of Task Force Lima and is eager to learn more about it. She is happy to report that the JSMC is hard at work and is looking at a steady stream of work well into the future. Staiger is the first woman to ever hold the top post at the joint systems manufacturing center and says they are seeing more women getting into defense engineering.

Lt. Col. George Kloppenburg relinquished command to Travis Adkins, who will assume responsibility of installation management activities. Adkins previously relinquished command to Kloppenburg back in 2019, where he also retired from service. This is also the first time that the JSMC will be under civilian command.
