Novus Foods is looking to move forward with a major expansion at its Delphos facility.
Novus Foods currently operates six manufacturing facilities across the country, employs roughly 1,200 people, and is seeing sales approach $1 billion, according to the company.
The State Controlling Board approved $800,000 to help move Gressel Drive in Delphos to make way for a $25 million expansion of Lakeview Farms The 100,000 square foot expansion of their plant will add a new production line, and warehouse space to the existing building.
Lakeview Farms is investing 24 to 30 million dollars to expand their commercial food processing plant and add warehouse space. An increase of up to 180 thousand square feet of new space. Thursday, Allen County commissioners approved a 10-year, 90% tax abatement for the company's new investment in the expansion.
