The snow from last week has mostly melted away, just in time for the City of Lima to start up their annual leaf pick up program. Workers began picking up the leaves in the 1st, 4th, 5th, and 6th wards on Monday(11/18/19). Pickup in the 2nd, 3rd, and 7th wards will begin as crews work through the streets of Lima. Residents are asked to make sure that it's only leaves that are being picked up. That means no branches, sticks, or other debris can be mixed into the piles. They also ask that you wait on raking the leaves up to the curb until it's your day for pick up.
