The Lima Memorial Day Parade will take place Monday, May 25, at 10 a.m., featuring one of the region’s largest parades and a Department of Defense military flyover. The day’s events will also include a wreath-laying ceremony at the Grave of the Unknown Soldier and a community gathering in downtown Lima.

The Allen County Veterans Council who organizes the parade has voted to do so for the protection and safety of the community. With everything going on around COVID-19, they believe that this is the best choice to make as Governor Mike DeWine is still asking for no gatherings of more than ten people.
