Thanks to your help, we had another successful Truckload of Toys this year. The Lima Salvation Army says that 630 toys and stocking stuffers were collected at the Allentown Road Walmart on Saturday. Besides the toys, we got a lot of cash donations to help purchase toys to help fill the wish lists of over 1,000 local kids this Christmas. We want to thank Kewpee for the coupons for us to pass out and the Marine Corps Reserves, along with the Lima Noon Optimist, for helping collect the toys.

The Lima Noon Optimist Club announced that they will not be having their trick or treat at Safety City in 2020. The annual event draws over 1,500 kids and the club decided that it was best to cancel the event because they couldn't figure out a way to safely social distance the large crowd of people in line.  They are hoping to see everyone back at Safety City in 2021.
