They always say that a picture is worth a thousand words, but this afternoon cute holiday pictures can help one organization with a specific mission. A Lotta Love Pet Rescue invited some four-legged friends and their owners out to get some holiday pictures taken. The furry models had their choice between a fall or winter backdrop or even get their picture taken with Santa. Besides the pictures, there were auction items that people could bid on and all the money raised goes to help spay and neuter cats. They have partnered with Humane Ohio out of Toledo, to provide a clinic 35 community cats spayed and neutered each month.
The cats ranged from tiny kittens to several years old, and only required a $30 donation to be adopted to their forever home. The organization is A Lotta Love Pet Rescue and they have partnered with the Humane Society in Toledo to provide a low-cost spay and neuter for community cats. They provide everything these animals need to live their best life and have another chance.
For the last dozen years, A Lotta Love Pet Rescue has been helping pet owners who have been dealing with tight budgets by giving them free pet food and other items. The organization was given a busload full of food, toys, and treats for pets for them to pass out. Now they are helping those families who pick up their food boxes from the West Ohio Food Bank to make sure their four-legged friends are not forgotten.
