There was a sea of pink around Mercy Health-St. Ritas Saturday morning as people took to the sidewalks to help in the fight against breast cancer.  The “I Pink I Can” 5K not only raised awareness to the disease, but also celebrate the survivors of breast cancer.  Around 250 runners and walkers took part in the first annual event.  There were even prizes for people wearing the best pink attire.  Each year there are nearly 287,000 women diagnosed with breast cancer.  5K organizer Aimee Kuhlman came up with the idea for the run, after she was diagnosed herself.
