There was a MLK Day tradition that was held in Lima Monday afternoon. People gathered at the intersection of Reese and Holmes Avenues to walk together in honor of Dr. King.
Every year, the Sigma Mu Omega chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha holds a community breakfast in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., bringing in speakers to discuss the legacy and words of Dr. King. This year it was held virtually on Hello Lima.
