Despite the cold, these Lima residents marched in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. The over-decade-long tradition held by Lima 6th Ward Councilman Derry Glenn brings everyone together to celebrate the life and legacy of Dr. King. They gathered in prayer, sang songs, and shared something they are thankful for that came from his teachings. Despite the below-freezing temperatures, they walked from Reese and Holmes Avenues to the park named specifically for him.

Lots of kids getting their Easter treats at Martin Luther King Jr. Park. Hundreds of plastic eggs were scattered throughout the park.
