Despite the cold, these Lima residents marched in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. The over-decade-long tradition held by Lima 6th Ward Councilman Derry Glenn brings everyone together to celebrate the life and legacy of Dr. King. They gathered in prayer, sang songs, and shared something they are thankful for that came from his teachings. Despite the below-freezing temperatures, they walked from Reese and Holmes Avenues to the park named specifically for him.

A neighborhood clean up event was held at Martin Luther King Jr. Park in Lima. The Lima-Allen County Neighborhoods in Partnership (LACNIP) and the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Neighborhood Association hosted the event.
