March 27, 2024 Press Release from the Ohio State Highway Patrol, Marysville Post: Marysville – The Marysville Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a four vehicle injury crash that occurred, Wednesday, March 27, 2024 at approximately 2:00 P.M. The crash occurred on US Route 33 near State Route 274.

At 6 p.m. yesterday, the Ohio State Highway Patrol received a description of the vehicle of an individual believed to be transporting a missing and endangered child. Just before 9 p.m., Wapakoneta Post state troopers stopped a vehicle matching that description in Auglaize County and initiated a traffic stop. The child was found in the vehicle, unharmed, and taken back to Michigan. The suspect was taken into custody and will face charges in Marysville, Michigan.

Honda of America is celebrating a production milestone on Tuesday in Marysville. It was 40 years ago that the first Honda "Elsinore CR250" motorcycle rolled off the assembly line in Marysville. 64 associates were working there at the time. Honda began auto production at the adjacent Marysville auto plan on November 1st of 1982.
