On day two of the trial, family members of the victim took to the stand, as well as medical experts that examined the young girl. After the testimony, Judge Terri Kohlrieser ruled that Boedicker is guilty of three counts each of rape and sexual battery charges for having sexual contact with a young girl when she was 10 years old in 2018 and again in 2021 when she was 12. Boedicker took the stand and said that the victim's family members were forcing the girl to make the allegations against him. He will be sentenced at a later date.

150 of the guard members have medical training and will be helping with the influx of COVID patients that hospitals, especially in the Northeastern part of the state are seeing. The other 900 will be doing helping hospitals and patients in other ways like transportation and food prep. The guard will be remaining flexible to respond to hot spots around the state when they flare up.

The Lima Rotary Club held their annual Christmas party on Monday afternoon, looking to raise money for local organizations. Several items were put up for a silent auction for Rotary members to bid on, as well as drawings and other fundraising opportunities.
