Each store will be donating a minimum of $200.

During the High School Sports Digital Fundraiser Day, 8 schools across the Lima area will earn 10 percent of all sales purchased through the McDonald’s app. This year marks the second time celebrating High School Sports Digital Fundraiser Day. McDonald’s owner/operators in Ohio came up with the fundraiser as a way to support high school athletics in the communities they serve. Each locally owned McDonald’s restaurant has chosen a high school in their community to donate 10 percent of all sales on September 26. Each identified high school will receive a minimum of $250.
August 27, 2024, Press Release from the Ohio Department of Natural Resources: COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ohio’s hunting seasons for squirrels, doves, and specific waterfowl open in early September, according to the Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR) Division of Wildlife. Archers can look forward to white-tailed deer hunting beginning later in the month. Hunting seasons for squirrel (fox, red, and gray), dove, rail (Virginia and sora), snipe, and gallinule begin Sunday, Sept. 1. Early Canada goose hunting runs from Saturday, Sept. 7 to Sunday, Sept. 15, and early teal (blue-winged and green-winged) hunting is Saturday, Sept. 7 to Sunday, Sept. 22. The deer archery season is not far behind, with statewide hunting opening on Saturday, Sept. 28.
Spectrum is helping make sure that families in rural northwest Ohio are connected to the world through increased broadband access. The company and elected officials talked about the projects at Cory-Rawson schools this morning. Spectrum is looking at a 9 billion dollar multi-year initiative to bring internet, phone, and TV access to areas across the United States that couldn't get it before. Some of the funding for their build-out is coming from the federal government and Ohio to help companies like Spectrum increase reliable internet access.
