The man accused in the March 2024 murder of an American Township woman has had his trial postponed again. Gervens Justilien, 33, will now go to trial Aug. 12, delayed from the previously scheduled date of May 27.
An Allen County jury will decide the fate of a Lima man facing charges in connection with a 2023 murder.
The jury trial for a Lima man charged with murder has been pushed back. During a motion hearing in Putnam Common Pleas Court Wednesday morning, the February trial for 26-year-old Konner Dunklee was rescheduled to begin on March 24, 2025.
The trial begins for one of the two men charged with the shooting death of Branson Tucker over one year ago. The trial for Kenneth Cobb began as he faces charges of murder and felonious assault, both with firearm specifications. One man testified who was with Tucker at Cobb's St. John's Avenue home during an after-hours gambling party. He says he saw Tucker and an older man get in a fight. During opening arguments, prosecutors detailed what led up to the shooting and why Tucker was found in a car on Michael Avenue. The state says Cobb shot Tucker because of a game of craps.
A Waynesfield man who allegedly murdered his wife was in court for his first pre-trial today in Auglaize County Common Pleas Court.
