An Ohio Highway State Patrol Cruiser was involved in what appeared to be a two-vehicle crash on Lima's north side Monday evening. Details currently remain very limited, but the crash occurred at the intersection of West Robb Avenue and North Cole Streets around 9 PM Monday. The Allen County Sheriff's Office along with American Township responded to the scene. Information about any injuries and how the crash happened are unknown. We will update this story as those details become available.

The Lima Police Department is investigating multiple gunshots fired on the city's north end on Sunday evening. Shortly after 8:30 p.m. on Sunday, officers from the Lima Police Department responded in the vicinity of North Cole Street and West Robb Avenue for a shots fired call. Initial investigations have discovered that a group of subjects were on foot and another group of subjects were in a vehicle. One of the subjects on foot fired more than 10 gunshots toward the vehicle, with the rest of the group fleeing on foot. The vehicle also fled the area, but as the vehicle fled, someone inside appeared to have returned gunfire. Currently, there are no known injuries.
