The Lima Memorial Day Parade will take place Monday, May 25, at 10 a.m., featuring one of the region’s largest parades and a Department of Defense military flyover. The day’s events will also include a wreath-laying ceremony at the Grave of the Unknown Soldier and a community gathering in downtown Lima.
An accident occurred at the intersection of North Shore Drive and Metcalf Street, according to authorities.
A gas leak closed down part of North Shore Drive today.
Dispatchers were called out at 8:32 am to North Shore Dr., near McDonel Street. When officers arrived they found the driver, 48-year-old George E. Lamb of Lima, dead at the scene.
