Dispatchers were called out at 8:32 am to North Shore Dr., near McDonel Street. When officers arrived they found the driver, 48-year-old George E. Lamb of Lima, dead at the scene. Captain Kevin Clark with the Lima Fire Department, tells us Mr. Lamb's vehicle struck a tree at a high rate of speed, before flipping over into someone's yard. Officials say he was the only one in the vehicle at the time. The crash remains under investigation. His body has been sent to Toledo for an autopsy.
