Ottawa-Glandorf’s Karsyn Erford named Ohio Ms. Basketball finalist

OTTAWA (WLIO) — Ottawa-Glandorf star Karsyn Erford has been named one of seven finalists for the Ohio Ms. Basketball Award, presented annually to the top girls basketball player in the state by the Ohio Prep Sports Media Association.
Erford is averaging 18.8 points, 4.5 rebounds and 4.1 assists per game while leading the Titans to a 25-0 record and a spot in the regional semifinals. The senior guard is a two-time Western Buckeye League, District 8 and Northwest District Player of the Year and broke the program’s career scoring record on Jan. 22.
Erford has helped Ottawa-Glandorf compile a 97-8 record during her career, including a perfect 36-0 mark in WBL play with four district titles and a state runner-up finish. She is committed to the University of Findlay.
The Ohio Ms. Basketball winner will be announced March 12.
