Out on Commerce Parkway, a construction project will soon be underway for Perry proTECH. The print and imaging business has been in the community for over 56 years, and felt like it was about time they built up a new location for their headquarters.
The new $6 million facilities will be located off Commerce Parkway. Representatives from Perry proTECH revealed details on the new structures during Monday's Lima City Council meeting. The company will receive a 10-year, 75% tax abatement for the project. The agreement will include a 50,500 square-foot building, retention of 78 jobs and the addition of six jobs.
When it comes to the safety of the students, Elida Schools says that's their number one priority, and now, they have the technology to help with people coming in and out of the building.
