Smull College of Engineering have a new laboratory to help prepare them for careers in advanced manufacturing. The University dedicated the Don Wood Foundation Advanced Metal Technology Lab at a celebration Thursday, Oct. 10. The lab was made possible by a $1.05 million grant from the Don Wood Foundation.

The libraries of Putnam County are going the extra mile to make reading interesting for kids this summer. Kids at the Columbus Grove branch learned all about space today as part of the season's "The Adventure Begins at Your Library Series." Through hands-on activities and crafts, they learned about the power of UV light, the phases of the moon, and the scale of objects in the solar system. Each week, the libraries will highlight books about a variety of different "adventurous" topics.
