Kids may dream about becoming the next doctor, astronaut, or even a meteorologist; however, for those dreams to become a reality, there is one important ingredient for success: real life inspiration. That was the case Friday afternoon at Heir Force Community School in Lima. The students participated in a hands-on STEM workshop with engineers from Proctor and Gamble.

A worldwide manufacturer with a Lima presence is helping to fight the coronavirus outbreak. Only days after their co-workers in Europe started manufacturing and distributing hand sanitizer, the team at the Lima Procter and Gamble plant started making the hand sanitizer here. According to the P&G website, the company met production requirements and rigorous safety protocols that were approved by the World Health Organization.

Procter and Gamble joined forces with Matthew 25: Ministries to give a little relief to families and first responders affected by the recent tornado to hit the area. The organizations are providing full-service laundry to residents affected by the tornado that hit an area in Celina's northwest side Monday night. The groups are providing up to two loads of laundry per household as well as giving away a bag of personal care items and cleaning products.
