In an effort to address concerns about the housing market in the city of Lima, a newly created program can now offer additional assistance to area landlords. The "Rapid Rental Repair" program is now underway. It provides assistance to eligible landlords with vacant units to do minor repairs and maintenance to get the unit rented. Requirements include, but are not limited to, the property being vacant at the time of repairs, agreeing to "HUD" established maximum rents, and the repairs must include maintenance-type improvements.
