The Lima Police Department is releasing more details on a Monday night accident that killed a one-year-old. The driver of the vehicle, Jeremy Callhoun 34 years old of Lima, was located at the scene of the accident with the vehicle. Jeremy was placed under arrest for unrelated warrants.

Findlay troopers are investigating a fatal pedestrian crash on I75 on Christmas Day. According to a media release from the Findlay Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the crash happened just before 7 p.m. North of the Van Buren exit of I75.   Troopers say the pedestrian was in the southbound lane when he was hit by a Michigan man driving a SUV.   The man then was hit by two additional vehicles.  The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene, their name has not been released yet because they need to notify next of kin.   The southbound lanes were shut down for four hours while trooper investigated the crash. 

Kristen Jorris was sentenced to jail back in 2008 on charges of Involuntary Manslaughter and Permitting Child Abuse. Those charged were filed after her young daughter died as a result of serious injuries back in 2007. The Ohio Parole Board has submitted a recommendation for Jorris to be released after serving fourteen and a half years of her fifteen year sentence.
