January 21, 2025, Press Release from the Ohio Department of Transportation District 1: LIMA, Ohio (January 21, 2025) – The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) District 1, in compliance with the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) and Executive Order 11988, is seeking public comments regarding the following proposed projects. The Ohio Department of Transportation is proposing to resurface 8.11 miles of pavement along State Route 66 between the southern city limits of Delphos and the northern village limits of Spencerville and the Ohio Department of Transportation is proposing to replace the bridge that carries State Route 66 (North State Street) over Jennings Creek on the northwest side of the city of Delphos.
The City of Lima is gearing up for its fall road resurfacing project. The city has 15 roads marked for the road work being done by Bluffton Paving. They hope to start Wednesday, October 16th, with a portion of Robb Avenue between Cole and Metcalf. There are streets all around the city scheduled for resurfacing. The contractor will put up no parking signs a few days before to let residents know they will be coming. The public works department asks motorists and residents to find other routes during the repaving process as partial lane closures are expected.
The Allen County Engineer's Office announced that Hillville Road, between Bentley Road and Tom Fett Road, will be closed from 8:00 a.m. through 4:00 p.m. for asphalt paving. Emergency vehicles will have access.
ALLEN COUNTY, OH (WLIO) - The Allen County Engineer's Office is announcing that Bowman Road in Perry Township will be maintained on Thursday, September 5, 2024, from 7:30 a.m. through 5:00 p.m. for asphalt paving. Delays may be possible during maintenance.
