The police department not yet releasing many details, but they were on scene behind a home on Lima's east side, around 3 p.m. Tuesday afternoon. Police at the location just off of Bellefontaine Avenue reportedly searching for a suspect in an alleged bank robbery on Lima's east side earlier in the day. We will have additional details as the police department releases them.

The Lima Police Department has announced that they have identified a suspect in a robbery investigation. Daren K. Day, a Dayton-resident, has been identified as the suspect in a strong arm robbery that occurred Monday.
The man came in a handed the teller a note demanding money and then left the bank on foot. Law enforcement searched the area but could not locate him. This is the second bank robbery in the Lima area in a week and a half. The Lima Police Department is investigating a bank robbery at the State Bank on June 4th.
