With the biggest shopping weekend of the year coming this weekend, the Lima/Allen County Chamber of Commerce is asking you to shop small. Black Friday will be here soon with Small Business Saturday on its heels, so why not keep your dollars local?

This weekend kicks off the official holiday shopping season. With some sales starting on Thanksgiving Day and moving into Black Friday local businesses want to encourage you to “SHOP SMALL” this Saturday. This will be the 10th year for “Small Business Saturday” supporting small hometown businesses. The “Shop Small Movement” is backed by American Express and they say 67-cents of every dollar spent at a small business stays in your community. And shopping small also has its personal benefits.
