February 19, 2025, Press Release from the Ohio Department of Commerce: COLUMBUS, Ohio — With spring break around the corner and Ohioans starting to think about summer vacations, the Ohio Department of Commerce Division of Financial Institutions (DFI) is offering practical tips and advice to help consumers plan upcoming getaways while keeping their finances in check.
The Ohio State Lima Campus had a little celebration for their students on Wednesday as they prepare for spring break. Students joined in on the "Half Way There Party" to celebrate making it through the first half of the spring semester. Free food was provided as a way to reward them and activities to keep them motivated through the back half of the semester. Not only that, the students are gearing up for spring break to begin next week. Several organizations like crime victim services and the Don't Text and Drive Campaign, were on hand to give the students tips for a safe spring break.
Spring is almost here and for many families that means Spring Break is coming up on the calendar.
Area girl scouts are keeping busy even during their spring break, learning leadership skills and developing friendships.
