The Allen County Engineers Office is announcing a temporary road closure for Sugar Creek Township residents. Wapak Road between State Road and Billymack Road will closed between 8 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. for  bridge repairs starting Monday, March 10th through Friday, March 14 th There will be no access during the work hours. 

A woman was seriously injured after her vehicle somehow drove off the road and struck a mailbox, power pole and a parked car on W. State Road Friday night.

ALLEN COUNTY, OH (WLIO) - Gomer Road, between State Road and Sherrick Road, will be closed from 8:00 a.m. through 2 p.m. on Friday, August 30, 2024, for tile work. There will be no through traffic but emergency vehicles will have access during this closure.

State Road, between Gomer and Dutch Hollow roads, will remain closed through Monday, July 29th for crossover repair. The Allen County Engineer states that there will be no access due to the closure.

Three people were taken to the hospital after a one car accident on State Road.

An entrapment accident at the intersection of Cable Road and State Road results in two people being sent to the hospital.
