The Celina Police Department says that they responded to a crash on State Route 29 just before 12:30 a.m. between Staeger and Havemann Roads.
Jill Albers, 45, died from her injuries in the crash, which occurred on State Route 29 just south of Fort Loramie-Swanders Road.
May 21, 2024, Press Release from the Mercer County Sheriff's Office: Mercer County Sheriff Jeff Grey reports that his office is investigating a serious injury crash that occurred yesterday, May 20, 2024. Mercer County Central Dispatch received a 9-1-1 call at 2:19 PM of a traffic crash on St Rte 29, east of Fleetfoot Rd in Jefferson Township. The investigation revealed that Wesley Greber (16) of Celina, OH was driving a 2016 black Ford Focus, traveling westbound on St Rte 29. Gurpreet Puaar (36) of Fresno, CA was traveling eastbound in a 2020 red Kenworth semi-tractor and trailer. For an unknown reason, Greber traveled left of center into the eastbound lane, striking Puaar.
Sheriff's deputies investigating a multi-vehicle crash, that killed one and hospitalized another, this morning in Mercer County.
