The YWCA Northwest Ohio is offering a free six-week summer camp for students in grades nine through 12 beginning June 23. The program includes enrichment activities, field trips and life skills training designed to help teens build confidence, leadership and communication skills.

The SAFY Drop-In Center in Lima is inviting families to attend open houses this week to learn more about its summer programming and youth support services. The center provides respite care, socialization opportunities and therapeutic skill-building programs for teens ages 12 to 17.

The city of Lima, in conjunction with Activate Allen County, is awarding grant funding through its Neighborhood Impact Grants program to support community-based projects.
