First-half taxes must be paid by the deadline to avoid a 10% penalty. The Allen County Treasurer’s Office encourages residents to use its online tax portal to access important information about their property. The portal lists previous years’ tax amounts, payment status from lenders, and more.
Allen County's Treasurer is reminding property owners that second-half property taxes are due Friday July 8th. There are several options to pay those taxes. You can go online at www.allencountyohtreasurer.com or stop by the Allen County Treasurer's Office in the courthouse or any Allen County branch of Superior Credit Union or Union Bank locations.
A Lima man facing a robbery charge has been arraigned in Lima Municipal Court. Brandon Allen Sr. is facing a felony two charge of robbery. He is accused of robbing Union Bank located at 1410 Bellefontaine Avenue on March 8th. A bond has been set in his case at $200,000 cash surety. Just before 10:00 AM Tuesday morning, police responded to the Union Bank at 1410 Bellefontaine Avenue.
