A person was hospitalized after a semi rolled over Monday afternoon on U.S. 30 near Wapak Road in American Township, and the Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating the cause.

Shawnee police, fire, and EMS responded to a two-vehicle crash late this afternoon.
A three-car accident in Shawnee Township sends an SUV into the side of a home. No one was injured in the crash that happened before noon at the intersection of Breese Road and Wapak Road. Shawnee township police said that the car ran the stop sign on Breese Road, striking the SUV, pushing it off the road, and eventually into the side of a house in the three thousand block of Wapak Road. A pickup truck was struck during the crash.

ALLEN COUNTY, OH (WLIO) - One man was seriously injured in a crash in Allen County on Thursday evening.
The main purpose of the change is to improve safety and address a crash trend that has developed at the intersection, according to Allen County Engineer Brion Rhodes. The crash trends usually are a result of either a failure to stop at the stop sign or a failure to yield to cross-traffic that was not required to stop.
It was closed due to the erosion of the banks of the Ottawa River. As these photos show the ground just started slipping into the river making the road unsafe. With no funding for this unexpected event, the Allen County Engineers office has received a zero percent loan from the Ohio Public Works Commission to start work in July to reconfigure the road.
There were only minor injuries in a two-car crash on Wapak Road on Tuesday. Troopers from the Lima post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol say the crash happened just after 5 p.m. Tuesday, at the intersection of Wapak and Agerter roads. The white car was northbound on Wapak Road when the driver stopped at the stop sign, but thinking it was a four-way stop, proceeded into the intersection. The blue car then broadsided the other vehicle.
