AMERICAN TOWNSHIP, Allen County, Ohio (WLIO) — The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a semi rollover that sent one person to the hospital Monday afternoon.
The crash happened around 12:30 p.m. on U.S. 30 near Wapak Road in American Township.
According to troopers, the driver traveled off the side of the road and overcorrected while trying to get the semi back onto the highway, causing the truck to roll over.
The American Township Fire Department transported the driver to Mercy Health – St. Rita's Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
A portion of U.S. 30 was closed while crews worked to clear the scene.Â
