Students at Wapakoneta High School hosted their first cornhole tournament fundraiser, bringing together 20 teams to raise money for the Auglaize County Crisis Center and support families affected by domestic violence.

Fred Miller, president of the Wapak Breakfast Optimist Club, said, “What more could you ask for, to be out in the sun in a hammock, reading? I mean, that just says it all. For the kids, that's our end goal, to create better, I guess, projects for kids that are out there to help them as far as their comprehension in school.”
WAPAKONETA, OH (WLIO) - The Wapakoneta Breakfast Optimist Club painted their support for police in the heart of the city.
The Wapakoneta Breakfast Optimist Club completed a project on Sunday that aims to honor law enforcement. The club painted a thin blue line down the center of Auglaize Street. More than eight members took part in the project, as they applied the paint to the roadway.
