“We’re hearing from residents about needing more curbs, more street paving, as well as lighting,” Smith said. “That’s an ongoing discussion we’re having in the city about how we can use our existing resources to be able to deliver those necessities to our neighborhoods.”

On Saturday, June 7, and again on Saturday, June 14, dumpsters will be available at various ward locations for residents to use free of charge.
“It’s a great opportunity to talk about streets, sidewalks, curbs,” Coleman said. “There’s been a lot of talk about trash, so we’ve been looking at that too—actually bringing along trash bags with us now to pick up litter during the walks. We’re really getting involved.”
