18th annual Lima Community Christmas Dinner is being moved to January 8th

The 18th annual Lima Community Christmas Dinner to be held at the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1275 is being moved from this Sunday, Christmas Day to Sunday, January 8th. A local favorite, the meal of turkey, ham, and mashed potatoes is free of charge but below-zero wind chills and tricky travel conditions are forcing the change. The event on the 8th is still set for 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the VFW Post at 124 East Elm Street. Black and White Cab will be offering free rides to the dinner during the 3-hour event.
