
LIMA, OH (WLIO) - A two-alarm fire severely damaged two buildings at a Lima apartment complex on Friday night. Just before 10:30 p.m. Friday night, a fire erupted at the apartment complex located near the intersection of North Cole St. and Knollwood Dr. in Lima. Lima firefighters found heavy fire and smoke coming from two adjacent buildings on the second floor and the attic. A second alarm was called, with assistance arriving from American and Shawnee Townships. Everyone was able to get out safely, and there were no injuries. The power had to be disconnected from the buildings, and the Red Cross was called in to assist four families. The cause of the fire is under investigation. The estimated damage is around $275,000.
