For many people this season, hanging up decorations is something that they have been dreading, or possibly can’t do on their own. Luckily for those people in the area, the company "The Grounds Guys" can help them show their Christmas cheer by hanging decorations for them, something that they have been offering for a while.
"We've done it in the past, and this year we're really starting to push the service," said The Grounds Guys owner Galen Miller. "We've recognized the need for it, and everything we buy is commercial grade lighting, it's not something that you can find in the box at stores, so it's a little different and custom-cut to the specific home or commercial property."
Hanging the decorations is something that is a little different than their normal line of work, but The Grounds Guys say that it’s a lot of fun - and it’s also worth it to help out those that might not be able to get their house decorated without some help.
"We deal with elderly, we deal with people who are possible physically disabled that can't come out and do this, or just don't want to do it as far as safety issues - those are the kind of areas that we target," said production manager Josh Luma. "It's something that we want to do, not only to promote ourselves, but also that we're meeting a need for a lot of people."
If you’re interested in having the company help you with your lights this year - all you have to do is give them a call.
"The office is open from 7:30 until 4:30, and the number is (567) 825-2088, people can call and schedule an appointment - we've got things in stock, and a lot of the time we can get out either that day or the next day to get them put up," Miller said.
The company says that the prices are flexible and they are ready to help you get your house looking extra cheerful this year.
