A house fire results in a busy evening for firefighters on the Allen - Hardin County Line.
According to Alger fire officials, they were called out to a house fire in the 1300 block of County Road 80, just after 6 o'clock Wednesday night. They arrived to find heavy smoke in the home along with some flames, but the fire was contained to the attic and a bathroom. There was smoke and water damage throughout the home. There's no estimate on the amount of damage, and the cause is still under investigation. Multiple fire departments aided at the scene, including Ada, McGuffey, Harrod, and Lafayette. No one was injured in the fire.
