Firefighters arrived to find flames on both the first and second floors of the residence. According to scanner traffic, there were concerns that two children could be inside. However, after a thorough search, no one was found in the home.
The Lima Fire Department was called to1113 Saint Johns Ave. just before 5:30 a.m. Flames and smoke broke through the rear of the home.

Massive debris removal operations continue across hard hit Indian Lake following the destructive path left behind last week's tornado. At a press conference on Friday, Logan County EMA Director, Helen Norris, stated that the March 14th Tornado is the largest debris event in Logan County history and exceeds by a factor of ten times the damage produced by the January 2005 Ice Storm. With FEMA arriving to conduct a joint public damage assessment on Tuesday, March 26th, Logan County officials have set up a system for residents to self report damage to assist with this assessment.
