Body found in Findlay ruled homicide, suspect in custody

The Lucas County Coroner has ruled the cause of death for the body found over the weekend in Findlay a homicide and Findlay Police have a suspect in custody who they believed committed the murder.

34 year old Joel Drain of Findlay is in the Hancock County Jail on outstanding warrants from another case, he allegedly killed 56 year old Randy Grose in his home this past weekend. According to the police department, officers responded to Grose's home to do a welfare check when they found him dead.

The preliminary results list the cause of death as strangulation with stab wounds and blunt force injuries. Police say that Grose and Drain were associates of each other. 

The case is still under investigation.
